A nationally recognised and flexible award from the City & Guilds Awarding Organisation that will enable candidates to
gain a qualification that relates directly to the educational setting in which they work.
Candidates must either be working or volunteering within an Educational setting (Primary, Secondary, Special
Needs) environment, and have a keen interest in children and young people’s care, learning and development. Candidates
must have a caring nature, be reliable, committed, enthusiastic, motivated and be able to work independently,
effectively and as part of a team.
Entry Requirements: Level 2 Literacy or equivalent is desirable however we will accept applicants who
are working towards this qualification. Courses will be made accessible whilst studying your teaching
assistant qualification.
Experience of working with children and young people is desirable.
Level 2 Numeracy and ICT is also desirable but again courses will be made accessible.
