Hair and Beauty Programme

Our foundation level hair and beauty programme offers a nurturing and supportive practical based programme with opportunities to link learning to theory and work experience. The course will use a Salon Training Room, where students can develop introductory skills in nail art, hair care, STEM with beauty, makeup through the times and will support students to be interview ready by presenting a professional image. Whilst the programme is at a foundation level, we intend to be ambitious, using energetic staff to lead the students, deal with challenges early and develop work related skills which can be further developed within the hair and beauty sector or transferred to other vocational areas. The course will incorporate Functional Skills, Tutorials and Enrichment activities which will expand your experience further. You will be assessed on your portfolio of work, practical demonstrations and witness testimonies, receiving regular support from the team around you to achieve this.
