Personal Progress Plus Programme

The central aim of the Personal Progress Plus programme is for students to continue to develop the skills and confidence necessary to lead as full and independent a life as possible. The programme offers a safe and nurturing environment which enables students to build on their existing skills and feel empowered to take an active role in planning their future. Students will enjoy a varied curriculum which comprises of a mix of off-site, practical and classroom based activities, with a specific focus on independent living skills and work related learning. Students will have the opportunity to manage an ongoing, onsite retail project and to work towards an appropriate work placement. Students are fully supported where necessary but are expected to work independently where possible and develop their skills through practical, applied learning. Learners can achieve accreditation for Personal and Social Development through ASDAN. A highly experienced and consistent tutor team, small group size, and person-centred approach, enables staff to build positive relationships with learners and successfully meet their individual needs.
