How it works:

pencil Family Learning provides a wide range of courses and resources to help parents/carers support their children’s learning at home and school. We offer a range of English, maths and digital skills courses aimed at parents/carers with children aged from 0-11 years (including the ‘50 Things to do before you’re 5’ app for Sheffield). When the whole family is involved in learning, children achieve more.

hat Our qualified, experienced and expert team of tutors deliver exciting, friendly and fun Family Learning workshops and courses in schools, family centres and community venues across the city. A list of the courses and workshops we offer is available on our FACES Family Learning website (see link below).

hands Family Learning helps to build positive relationships between home and school. It is a great way to meet new people and get involved with the local community. Our Health and Wellbeing courses promote good physical and mental health for the whole family.

Family learning is fully funded, so there is no cost to learners or venues.

hands We also offer an extensive Information, Advice and Guidance support service to all learners to help with next steps in learning or employment.
