Personal Progress Programme
The key aim of the Personal Progress programme is for students to develop the skills and confidence necessary to lead as full and independent a life as possible. The programme offers a safe and nurturing environment which enables students to build confidence and self-esteem, and feel empowered to take an active role in planning for their future. Students will enjoy a varied curriculum which comprises of a mix of off-site, practical and classroom based activities. Students will develop their independence and social skills, can form meaningful friendships within their peer group and develop a sense of belonging within the wider community. Students can achieve accreditation for Personal and Social Development through ASDAN and for creative subjects through Arts Award. A highly experienced and consistent tutor team, small group size, and person-centred approach, enables staff to build positive relationships with students and successfully meet their individual needs.
