Yew Tree House & Sheaf House
Both formerly caretaker’s houses have been fully redeveloped to provide calm and safe environments for learners to access therapeutic support on demand. They act as small HUBs from Sheaf Specialist Vocational College and provide sheltered delivery for young people who due to their Special Educational Needs and Disabilities, often relating to anxiety and mental health issues need an individualised programme.
Facilities include learning as well as creative resources such as musical instruments, cooking facilities in a fully functional kitchen, modest grounds and gardens for horticulture and even a potters wheel and other creative tools. The buildings contain a living area and a classroom as well as a chill out room with soft furnishings for learners to use.

Sheaf Training has a wide selection of training rooms for hire at very competitive rates. Please contact us on 0114 4031007 to discuss your requirements.
